Perimeter Patrol This big fella was one of many tree scouts surrounding a large troop (40+) of baboons. With many watchful eyes, other family members could enjoy a warm morning of leisure and relaxation in the Ogavango Delta of Botswana. Careful not to intrude we were able to watch this troop for about an hour....eating, playing, fighting and loving, a full life no doubt. It is an amazing privilege to observe wild animals interact with one another in their natural habitat without feeling threatened by human presence, such trust considering how we have jeopardized their kind from the beginning of time.
