Wild-Earth-Illuminations > Perimeter Patrol This big fella was one of many tree scouts surrounding a large troop (40&#43;) of baboons. With many watchful eyes, other family members could enjoy a warm morning of leisure and relaxation in the Ogavango Delta of Botswana. Careful not to intrude we were able to watch this troop for about an hour....eating, playing, fighting and loving, a full life no doubt. It is an amazing privilege to observe wild animals interact with one another in their natural habitat without feeling threatened by human presence, such trust considering how we have jeopardized their kind from the beginning of time. Wild-Earth-Illuminations > Elephants and Egrets - Botswana When we found this young male elephant in the grasslands by himself, the camera shutters were popping. Then much to our surprise.....nine cattle egrets popped up out of no where as this big boy started to wade through his lush afternoon buffet. Catlle egrets and elephants have a symbiotic relationship as many creatures in Africa do. As the elephants moves through grass it stirs up the insects which provide the egrets a lunch of their own. Wild-Earth-Illuminations > King of Kings There is no shortage of impalas at Lake Nakuru in Kenya, however this male was particularly impressive. Judging by the size of his harem,(30&#43; females), which is what he was overseeing, they would concur regarding his superior grandeur.
